The full moon reaches its peak here in Auckland on Thursday, 2 April 2026 at 3:11 pm, and this month it is known as the Pink Moon. Despite the name, it will not actually appear pink. The name is traditionally linked to seasonal pink phlox flowers, and astrologically, this full moon falls in Libra, a sign often associated with balance, harmony, relationships, and emotional perspective.
After the forward-moving energy that can come with Aries season, a Libra full moon invites a softer pause. It brings awareness to where life may feel out of balance, especially in the space between your own needs and the needs of others. This can be a powerful time to reflect on your relationships, your boundaries, and the places where more honesty, peace, or steadiness may be needed.
Full moons are often seen as moments of illumination. They can gently bring emotions, patterns, or truths to the surface so they can be acknowledged more clearly. Under this moon, themes of renewal, revelation, and rebalancing may feel especially present.
This is a beautiful moon for asking yourself:
Where am I over-giving or over-extending?
Where do I need more balance in my energy or relationships?
What feels ready to be released so I can come back to centre?
What would it look like to choose peace without abandoning myself?
If you feel called to work with crystals during this full moon, this energy pairs beautifully with stones that support grounding, emotional balance, heart healing, and inner clarity. You may feel drawn to crystals such as Rose Quartz for softness and compassion, Green Aventurine for heart-centred balance, Amethyst for calm and perspective, or Black Tourmaline for grounding and protection.
A simple full moon ritual can be to sit quietly with your chosen crystal, journal what feels out of balance, and then write down what you are ready to release. You might also set an intention for how you want to move forward with more ease, honesty, and steadiness in the weeks ahead.

The full moon can also be a beautiful time to cleanse and recharge your crystals. You may like to place them somewhere safe in the moonlight, or near a window overnight, as a gentle ritual of renewal and intention. If your crystals have been holding space for you through a full season of growth, emotion, or change, this can be a lovely way to reconnect with them and refresh their energy. Let it be simple, intuitive, and supportive of your own practice.
And remember, if any of these stones feel like they are calling to you, you are always welcome to book a crystal consultation, and we can help you find the pieces that best support you right now.
This full moon is not asking for perfection. It is simply inviting you back into alignment. Back into your own truth. Back into the parts of yourself that feel calm, clear, and supported.
With intention,
Sarah ✨✨
